Transfer Station Improvements – Phase 3 Phippsburg, Maine
The Town of Phippsburg is requesting quotations for the Transfer Station Improvements – Phase 3 project. The Town of Phippsburg shall accept sealed bids at the Town Office until 9:30 a.m. on May 26, 2026.
In general, the work involves one area of paved full depth reconstruction, and one area of removing existing pavement, regrading, and repaving. In addition, the project includes common excavation, grading, installation of concrete waste block retaining walls, drainage system improvements, and erosion & sedimentation control. The work shall be completed between July 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026.

The bids will be opened and read aloud at the Town Office on May 26, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
The project involves full depth reconstruction of approximately 1,630 linear feet on West Point Road in Phippsburg. Work includes common excavation, rock excavation, installation of drainage systems, riprap slope protection, slipform concrete curbing, gravel base and subbase, hot mix asphalt pavement and pavement markings, stone-lined ditching, gravel shoulders, steel beam guardrail, and other work-related items.
