Winnegance River Herring Commission

 

The Commission was able to complete the needed repairs to the fishway thanks to a $10,000 grant from the Davis Conservation Foundation. We were able to secure this grant in large part from the backing and support of the Phippsburg Land Trust. They were our sponsor and we are very grateful to them.

 

The repairs that were made should support and stabilize the fishway for years. The total cost of the repairs was $13,779.84. 

  

The Commission receives $5.00 for every bushel harvested.
