Request for Proposal - Assessing Services

The Town of Phippsburg, Maine, is seeking proposals from qualified and certified Maine assessing contractors and contracting companies to provide professional Assessing Services.

Phippsburg is a coastal community in Sagadahoc County with a diverse tax base that includes residential neighborhoods, commercial areas, extensive waterfront, seasonal villages, and large areas of conserved lands.

• Geography: 18,000 acres (38.25 miles of coastline, 8 islands with 20 buildings)

The Town uses TRIO Web software for valuation and property record management.

The Town is currently engaged with Municipal Consulting Group of Maine (f/k/a RCS Assessment Services) to complete a full town wide revaluation. The final values of which will go into effect on April 1, 2028.
