Assessment Review Board

The Assessment Review Board hears property tax abatement appeals from taxpayers who would like to have their real estate or personal property tax assessment reviewed. The board reviews the case and makes a determination if the Town Tax Assessors findings are correct or need to be adjusted. Members shall have a working knowledge of local property values, appraisal procedures and tax structure.
