Assessment Review Board

Assessment Review Board - Hears property tax abatement appeals from taxpayers who would like to have their real estate or personal property tax assessment reviewed. The board reviews the case and makes a determination if the Town Tax Assessors findings are correct or need to be adjusted. Members shall have a working knowledge of local property values, appraisal procedures and tax structure.
