The Sagadahoc County RAVE communications system allows you to receive notifications about weather warnings, routine alerts, and urgent alerts for all or any towns in Sagadahoc County. You decide which notifications you prefer and how you would like to receive them (Text, voice call, and email).
RAVE also allows you to add important information that you would like to offer to first responders in case of all kinds of emergencies. Rave is capable of storing information like emergency contacts, pet information, medical necessities, and vehicle information in case you are unable to communicate or if something happens to your property while you are away.
This system is also great for persons with second homes or vacation homes here in Sagadahoc County.
If you have not signed up for the RAVE system and want to continue to receive important safety information and alerts, please visit Sagadahoc County's RAVE and Smart 911 sign-up page at https://www.smart911.com/smart911/ref/reg.action?pa=SCEMA. If you do not sign up for the Rave system, you will no longer receive alerts from Sagadahoc County Officials. If you need additional assistance, please contact Sagadahoc County Emergency Management at 207-443-8210 or contact us here at Town Hall.
On July 1,2024, Sagadahoc County EMA transitioned to a new emergency alert and mass notification system called RAVE/Smart911. If you have already signed up for the RAVE system, no further action is needed.
