Your Phippsburg Town Hall can renew your boat registration Monday through Friday 9-5 (minus 1-2). New boat registrations are done 9-12:30 and 2-4:30. Please remember to bring in your previous registration or a photo of your ME number. Any new registrations also require a Bill of Sale and proof of any Sales Taxes paid. You can also register online at the site below.
This online service allows you to register your Boat (vessel) with the State of Maine. Following your transaction, you will receive a temporary registration form to print for immediate use. Your official registration and stickers will arrive at the shipping address specified within 30 days.
Boat registrations are valid from January 1 through December 31.
Starting on December 1st each year, boat registrations done through this service will be for the following calendar year.
Fees vary depending on the length, model year, use, and horsepower of the boat (vessel) being registered.
At this time, boats owned by businesses cannot be renewed online.
