It is the mission of the Comprehensive Plan Committee to preserve the rural and historic character in Phippsburg while simultaneously promoting responsible land use, supporting our economy, and boosting community infrastructure and services. The Comprehensive Plan includes a community wide vision, goals to support the vision and values, planning principals, and mapping to support the plan and vision. The vision was written based on a visioning session led by a nationally recognized planner and with feedback received from outreach conducted within the town in the last 8 months of 2023.

The Phippsburg Comprehensive Plan Committee meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at Town Hall.
